Yes, I am an alcoholic who has not had a drink since 1984. The problems I encountered staying sober and the growth I gained from it formed a strong desire to share what I learned from that experience.
Though I didn’t realize it at the time, I wanted to know why I thought alcohol was the solution. I now know the answer to that question.
I worked in the medical field as a Registered Respiratory Therapist and I was the primary caregiver for my husband as we battled his Alzheimers.
Through my training, work and caregiving I know a bit about medicine. Like many of you, I have had some rough bumps. I lost my youngest daughter. She was 36 years old and I lost my husband as well.
These experiences have given me a unique insight into what is really important in this life.

I love drawing, quantum physics, cozy murder mysteries, swimming, digging in the dirt, and learning a new language Spanish.
